Healthy Weight Loss Diet Vs. Carb Diets

Who doesn’t want to lose weight? Everybody does. That is why searching for the right healthy weight loss diet has been a never ending quest for almost all of us. However, you have to understand that these diets you engage with nowadays are not as healthy as you think they are.

Most of the low carb diets which you encounter almost starves you to death, which definitely is not a good thing for your health. You may lose weight and you may be even look thinner than you have expected, but aren’t you sick and tired of not eating at all? Well, yes you are, and that is the reason why after you starve yourself to death you then eat those things that you were deprived of eating. Which is not a very good idea to do.

The after effects of low carb diets is carvings, and cravings are usually what leads a person who is in a diet to frustration, and why? Hear me on this…you don’t eat, right? And then you crave…and then you eat, so, what happens here? The calories you store in your body is not enough to sustain you when you starve, then your metabolism rate slows down, after you feel that you are being deprived of the food you want to eat, you indulge in it, and then you eat as if there’s no more tomorrow, so what happens to the diet now?

As you take in fewer calories, your body gets used to it. If you bring in more calories your body then tries to burn it, but since your metabolism is slow, most of it are stored in your body — and eventually turns into acid and then fats. Now the problem begins, you are probably wondering, if you could have chosen a healthy weight loss diet, you shouldn’t have been frustrated at all, without having all that hard work go to waste.

A healthy weight loss diet can lead to your advantage because it allows you to eat the foods that you need for nourishment, in just smaller amounts. All you need is a well-balanced diet which still comprises everything that is present in the food pyramid, however, you take in food in smaller, but frequent meals. This time around you do not have to crave because you can still eat what you want.

Another important factor that you have to consider in obtaining a healthy diet is that, you shouldn’t forget about breakfast and skip your meals. This is the only discipline that you need to make sure of, for skipping meals will starve you and slow down your metabolism. You have to stick to the same diet plan day after day to make it work.

You also have to keep in mind that to make a healthy diet work for weight loss issues, it should always be accompanied with proper exercise, drinking of plenty water and getting enough sleep. All of these goes together, and if you would like to make things work out for you, you better start living a healthy lifestyle from this day on, you’ll definitely have no regrets in the end.
